Sniffing with an AP.

It’s possible to have an AP collect sniffer traces and send it to a sniffer program, like WireShark.
This is only possible with the AP in LWAPP mode.

First configure the AP :
SnifferDetails

Then Wireless/AccessPoints/bgn radio / Configure
Sniffer_Channel

Now you can capture with Wireshark at the Network interface. (In my case just an ethernet connection.)

After capture :
Analyze / Decode as
And have the Source (5555) decode as Airopeek.
Sniffer_Wireshark_DecodeAs

It’s possible to sniff packets from a channel and see them in Wireshark :
Sniffer_probe_request
